We pray God blesses you, your family and ministry, in all areas.

remember that ministry is not just if you have a title in church, but ministry is our life showing Jesus. =)

God is faithful

As I was watching today the Village of Hope video, I was reminded of something that is easy to forget, especially nowadays.

Back in September, there was a fire in one of the villages that damaged around 300 people, remember this people hardly have anything and with this fire they lost the few things they had. Tough life, eh? It was hard to understand at the moment why God would bring such a disaster on such unfortunate people, but God knows best, and he provided in such an amazing way, from having nothing to offer this people, within 3 days we had almost $10,000 dlls to feed the 300 for three weeks, we were able to provide for matresses, clothes, blankets, brand new stoves, propaine tanks and the necesary for this people.

This is nothing we could have done on our strenghts, nothing we could've ever dream of providing but again this is not our project, this is God's, coming out of the God's heart, so who can be against us?

Today's economy is making it harder for this project, but just as he provided that time in september, just as he has been providing, he will continue, and this is what I was reminded of.

HE IS FAITHFUL.

food and clothes!

Yadi Escobar- Hello all!
we had a very good day today, sunday march 1st, we've been having sunday services at the village since the year started. it's been really awesome! we had a regular attendance of 150 people sometimes 300! today we went to church there, had sometime to play with the kids, and gave them food and clothes donated from churches and people across California. we want to thank those supporting this vision, know that you can do a lot! this people have great needs and anything you could do to help will be welcome. specially now that the jobs are decreasing and A LOT of people are without a job. Two couples from L.A. came last weekend, they gathered donations (clothes, food, toys, etc) part of that we gave last weekend with them, Marguerite and Wayne sonoda and Ericka and George, and the rest we gave today. this people were greatly blessed by this. that same weekend as we were leaving the village a girl approached me and asked me if we had ANYTHING to eat, her family had nothing to eat that night and their boss wouldnt pay them because there is not a lot of work. I know today's economy is real bad, but trust me, we still can give. here are some pictures of today's service. Blessings.
