such a great last day!
I think we had the loudest singing EVER! we were singing "Alelujah, praise ye the Lord!" it was soo loud it hurt my ears! it was amazing, this kids, who could barely say yes or no a few years back... are now yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs "Gloria a Dios!" what a gift!
It is also great to see how much they know about God and how much their learning. During question time, they were all raising their hand, telling us that because of Jesus' prayer and faith, he was able to feed the 5000... this kids have such potential, I told them that just as Jesus used that little boy to feed such a big crowd, so was he wanting to use each of them. it was great to see the smiles on their faces.
The youth did all the games, story, songs, craft, and it was soo encouraging to see them hands on the project and see how much theyre growing and their willingnes to do whatever. I am so proud of them! We are really blessed as a church.
we had hot dogs for snacks they loved it! they kept coming back for more, they kept telling us... ME GUSTA HOT DOGS! ...(I like hot dogs).
After the VBS, they asked me to go with them to see their "house" up in the hill... so that started a hiking trip... on the way there, they were telling me... Yadi, Jesus loves us right?, Yadi does Jesus speak English? He speaks Spanish and Mixteco right? and he listens to us right?, it was so encouraging to hear it from them... so encouraging to know that they realize that everything that is being done in the Village comes from God and His deep love for them.
